Narcolepsy Network’s 28th annual conference will be held at the InterContinental Hotel Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia, October 18-20, 2013.
One of the most anticipated parts of the weekend is the fellowship with other people with narcolepsy. For many attendees, the conference is the first time they have ever met someone else who shares their diagnosis. It is an educational and emotional experience that many have said is a life-changing event. You don’t want to miss it!
We are planning a full schedule of speakers, workshops and events. Dr. Michael Thorpy, director of the Sleep-Wake Disorders Center at Montefiore Medical Center in New York will give the Saturday keynote address on the diagnostic criteria for narcolepsy. Other sessions include “Navigating College,” “Pregnancy and Narcolepsy,” “Parents of PWNs,” and “How to Start a Support Group.”

Narcolepsy Network members receive a discount on conference registration. If you aren’t a member, join Narcolepsy Network when you register and receive the member rate. Members may register up to 4 guests at the member rate.
Two membership options are available:
2013 Membership: $40
includes paper copies of all four 2013 newsletters and online access to older issues
6 Month Membership (July 1-December 31, 2013): $20
includes paper copies of the last two 2013 newsletters and online access to older issues
Accommodations
A special conference rate of $139 per night (not including taxes) is available at the InterContinental Hotel Buckhead. This rate expires on September 28, 2013.
